What's best for the people?

"They've attacked us, sabotaged us, abducted us--" Ops, wrong speech
Hello blog, yesterday President Obama made his speech in Wisconsin about future plans for the economy. Among the highway jobs and railroads there’s another portion I want to bring to you attention. The money sent to corporations—small business and big corporations.
Billions of dollars granted to corporations to invest into equipment and billions more sent to small businesses for relief. Sounds familiar, doesn't it? Wouldn't that go with the republican agenda? Right, so if we apply a little logic that would mean Republicans would agree and give props to Obama for doing something they have wanted to do since 2008.

Nope, sorry wrong they got you again!

Obama was instead criticized from all sides about this new plan. It was also suggested that this plan be approached with skepticism. Basically, don’t do this plan, Obama, until republicans take over the senate. So then they can pass it and claim the credit.
Like I've said before, ladies and gentlemen, this is politics at its worst. When you put aside your parties principles in which people look to VOTE FOR YOU or to look past helping the American people! Just to protect your party’s interest. That is politics at its worst easily.
Speaking of attacking Obama, I think we have heard the common argument on "Obamacare" that it shouldn't be done because the majority disagrees. Which wouldn't be all that bad of a statement if the Republicans didn’t want to extend Bush’s Tax cuts. (Only 35% of Americans care about or think will help in anyway.)
I don’t understand the logic of saying because the majority doesn't approve it shouldn't be done. Isn't that politics 101. Douchebaggery, do things to get re-elected even if people don’t like it. And since when is always agreeing with the majority a good thing. The majority a number of times have been wrong. Slavery, Women’s rights you name it. All looked down upon in its town and disliked by the majority. Now am I saying they should ignore the majority? No, but trying to make a point out of it over one issue even though your party does it too makes very little sense to me.
Face it folks, Obama was spot on in his speech when he said Republicans would say the sky isn't blue, and that is what I hate about the campaign season. Let's move back to the issues not hide the Mosque from Ground Zero to make issues out of something that should be settled with the fact they have the constitutional right. No, we will still talk about it though instead of things like Sharon Angle wanting to have every pregnancy investigated. Everyone loves Washington!

Drill Baby Drill

Hello blog, once again there was another oil accident. This time not as catastrophic, no one was hurt, and it was done via platform instead of deepwater horizon.

why is this worth talking about? The coast guard reported a spill about one hundred feet wide about 200 miles west of BP's massive spill. And then what happened? Four hours later they say there was NO SPILL. How exactly do you say so accurately that there was one hundred feet wide then four hours later say “Ops, never mind”?

I'm not trying to be some conspiracy theorist, but oil companies and telling the truth to the media mix about as well as…well, oil and water. BP lied to the president themselves about the size of their spill. So I think it's fair to say there COULD be another spill.
Enough assumptions, though. I want to talk about the hypocrites who tell Obama to do something about these accidents. Yet, if he does something he will be called a socialist and supporter of big government because these corporations are NOT owned by the Government. They OWN the government!

Let’s resume. If Obama would have "done" something like he was "supposed to" wouldn't he then be called a socialist for being involved in corporation and regulating them? If he doesn't do anything and lets corporations lie out their teeth as it tries to get out of this mess anyway possible by doing as little as they can.

Which are you guys going to pick? You tie his hands down once again and no matter what he does he is bad or wrong. Don’t worry, though, we have new ways of hitting Obama now. I've heard that Obama himself is causing these explosions. Yes people are now saying that since 2 explosions have occurred within the last five months during Obama's presidency it is EVER SO clear that Obama has caused it.

Even though there was about two to three every year including in 2007 when there was four. So yeah...whatever? Instead of going after the real problem – the inspectors of these rigs who come from an industry that doesn’t care nor look until these kind of things happen – let’s just blame Obama.

Trying to enforce and get better inspectors and tighter regulations? I do not mean make MORE REGULATIONS. I mean being STRICTER about them. Making more regulations just oh, I don’t know, gives more rules for these companies not to follow.

Who am I kidding? Just blame Obama.

It's Over!

The combat mission is over in Iraq! “It's over!” said that guy who uses big words on T.V. I think there needs to be a feature on our televisions that makes us hear what we want: "Uh, look, I'm a Muslim and I uh was not born in this country."

Audience at home: "Oh I knew it!"

I honestly did not listen to anything this man had to say because he wants to keep social security and that's wrong. We should work until we die. It's good ethnics and morals, keeps the youngins off the street and uneducated just like I like um so they will vote for me!

Nonetheless, he says it's over. Our combat mission is over; no more MG's blowing through human flesh promoting democracy! Instead we are going to build their Government up BOREEEE. How will CNN get viewers from that now? Coming up: guys in suits talking about how to stop the violence *Snore.*

This is not why I am blogging tonight, however. Tonight I want to talk about why we should be worshiping Mr. Bush! Without him, he wouldn't have made this all possible cause without him he wouldn't have had four different reasons set over seven long years on why we are there! Really America?! You need FOUR reasons now? Four dishonest, ever changing, and lacking in evidential reasoning to raise arms against another country, all to promote peace by blowing up their homes up. You had me at explosions, Mr. Bush.
First we had 9/11 we went in Iraq to fight the Iraqi's after 9/11 because they had 0 to do with 9/11 sounds fair to me. Then we had the threat of weapons of mass destruction! And they weren’t there, but how dare you say they couldn't be just because there is no evidence. Have you found Mr. Osama? For all you know it could be under his mattress, think about that one Osama could be hiding in Afghanistan with weapons of mass destruction preparing to blow us up!...Afghanistan...not Iraq...Wait?

Third, we were told Saddam Hussein was a bad man. You’re darn right he was. Good job Bush, I love you so much. That took some real investigating, I tell ya.

Fourth, turns out Saddam was ruining oil for the U.N. and we were protecting the U.N. cause we are the big man on campus who protects the little U.N. We’re that hero that gets told by the U.N. not to war with Iraq, but we do it for them anyway. They don’t actually mean what they say I think it was opposite day that day.

So not only was Bush building mountains of evidence to destroy the Middle East, he was also in good spirits about playing opposite day. How could we also forget, we are also a lot safer. We have wire taps now and we now get to listen to what our neighbors have to say. You say invasion of privacy I say bah to that. Unless, of course, you have something to hide! Think about it. There could be a serial killer living next door whose house smells like dog.

The Patriot Act, too! We now plan ahead by putting people away who look the role, but haven't acted it out yet. Better safe than sorry right?

So, my lovely reader, who’s responsible? The guy who protected us so well by giving us colorful and lovely narratives that persuades us to have Dick Cheney breathing on the end of our phone lines. Or the boring guy who pulls us out of combat missions and doesn't tell cool stories, and actually applies this extreme left wing thought called "Logic" to pulling us out of a seven year war. I know my answer.

I have another puzzle for you

Hello blog! I'm here today to talk about the mistaken for an Umpa Lumpa – John Boehner – the new voice of the GOP party. Today our orange friend made a speech in Ohio stating misinterpreted facts. For example, "The Stimulus did not work". Pardon me sir, but the 3.1 Million jobs it made didn't appear out of thin air.

But, hey, if the public buys it then by all means go for it, Boehner. You’re supposed to be the "Role-model" and the go to guy of your party now? Hopefully you should stop handing out tobacco checks on the house floor.

That's fine too. Tobacco is a big resource and he is handing out free money, of course to his friends in the house, but hey that’s the furthest they will ever go to spreading the wealth. But I digress. He also voted to hike taxes alongside Bush in 2011, but for taxes to rise NOW is pure evil right, Boehner? That was ten years ago so surely circumstance have changed, correct?

Well, unfortunately for you, you walking Syracuse mascot, you said for Obama to have a spending freeze, but now voted against it. You say you and your party have what it takes to get us out quickly and effectively out of this recession. Too bad your tactics include the same Bush economics that have been used for the past eight years.

Honestly, this is just bad. The BEST the GOP has to offer. This guy? Really? Not someone like Ron Paul who yesterday stood up for what he ACTUALLY believed was right and spoke out against the Anti-Mosque protests. You want the same people the same formula. That lost you the 2008 election which lost you the house, the senate. All of it. And the only reason you have a slight chance to get it back is because you have your little station called Fox making up issues like the Mosque.

That's just great that you use this Mosque to make it the #1 issue in this country now. Remember when it was about the economy, now it's about the abandoned Burlington Coat Factories and a community center. Nice job on that one!

I do however give him props for being better than old Michael Steele; the guy who tried today to appeal to the Hispanic vote by saying not all Republicans supported the Arizona law. Well sir not all "Muslims" are radicals who are trying to do terrorist attacks on this nation. Next time you cry about being generalized try not to generalize other people? Maybe that's why you’re losing your job. Or that the liberals in this country get a laugh every time they hear your going to make an appearance on T.V.

To sum it up, if the Orange Party is the best the GOP has to offer, I don’t see you winning the house and senate this November or ANYTIME soon for that matter. Your mass victories that are coming look Oh so promising. Like, for example, the 34% of the people who believe the Republicans are to blame for the economic recession. To the about 24% that say it's the democrats fault. By proposing to do the same thing the 34% believe got us into this mess into a first place is an insult to the American people.

Got that Sun Tan man?

Endorsements: Good or Bad?

Hello, blog with the mid-term elections in sight – only about seventy days away I believe – we’re starting to see endorsements come in across the board. Overall this mid-term has been pretty strange with the endorsements. Church's endorsing candidates, just as an example. Of course the big endorsement that I think is a curse would be Obama's endorsements to the Democratic candidates

This guy can be extremely arrogant sometimes. I'm just going to say it right now; he knows his approval ratings are down the drain at nearly 50%. He knows that Fox and Conservatives automatically disagree with ANYTHING he does. But, there he goes going out there on the campaign trail to try to help the democrats and I think it's only going to hurt them.

I'm not sure what he's thinking I know he probably has well intentions, but here’s the thing – and this is a big secret – most of the people who are voting against democrats this year are doing so because they are displeased with Obama. So, going out there to try to get them to vote for you – just by placing his endorsement – isn't going to sway anyone because people who aren't voting democrat just don’t like how he’s running the place.

As for the undecided voters, maybe I'm wrong on this or I haven't seen it, but I don’t see anyone going "Well, the President said vote for this guy! Well, here I go!"

No, I never see that happen and it goes WELL beyond Obama's endorsements. I don’t ever get my interest perked from an endorsement. I have never see endorsements work either. Remember back in 2008 when Obama got endorsed by the Kennedy's and what do you know Clinton won that state. Not even the Kennedy family -- the closest to royalty in the United States – could pull the endorsement win off. Another example, in Kansas I see ads for Tiehrt who is endorsed by Palin. I see that and I'm not interested in ANY WAY to vote for him now. In fact it is the opposite.

Bottom line political endorsements FAIL unless there from Nike and grant you millions of dollars. Too bad Nike is the fastest company to throw you under the bus the second you get tabloid trouble. Guess they all fail, sorry Endorsements.

Fail Friday

Hello blog, this is FAIL Friday. Sit back and pay close attention. This week I got a hidden secret. The majority of the failures this week have something in common and something will be revealed later on in what I would like to call TangentX's first ever FUTURE FAILURE!

SAME TO YOU, BUDDY

#5 Herry Reid, this fellow right here had a chance to close some ground on Sharon Angle with the Mosque debate. Instead he took the bait and said the Mosque should be moved. Reid, I got one thing to say to you—actually, I think I’ll sing it to you. THE DEMS DONT WANT YOU, THE REPUBS DONT WANT YOU. BABY, BABY AINT NOBODY WANT YOU!
2 failures for the price of...

#4 Sarah Palin, she still can’t go a week without saying something stupid on Twitter. Like a coach she tells Dr Laura to fight and re-load. Trust me this couldn't come from anyone better. Laura, she also fights and reloads, after embarrassing herself to millions on Twitter with fake words. Allow me to in front of two viewers: BLARGENFLARDIN that means no chance in 2012.
Don't point that finger at me, who knows where it's been

#3 Glenn Beck chased after the Muslim people this week by holding the entire religion responsible for 9/11. That's not his failure though. That's like being surprised if Larry King is drooling on his program. What he is getting called out for is saying 9/11 was an attack of no motive, when four months earlier he even explains on his own program that we were "in bed with dictators" hence forth the attack. Guess when you spout crazy all the time you’re bound to forget some things.
Hmmm, if Obama comes from a seed, where did I come from? DADDY!

#2 Franklin Graham today said that Obama is caught with Islam because he was born into it. He has (Obama) as he said it "Muslim seed". Of course! Religion begins at the egg! Maybe he is right about the seed. After all his dad, Billy Graham, believed communism was caused by the inner-city. I guess the acorn doesn't fall far from the tree… or in this case "Seed."

A picture is in fact worth a thousand words
#1 Today's #1 failure of the week has no career. I feel bad making fun of him because I know anyone reading this won’t know him but here goes. TED NUGENT! When performing at a Mississippi bar he said "Wow this crowd is full of white people. I like that!" (After this quote he questions the race of an individual in the crowd.) I don’t know which fails more the bigotry or the fact this happened two weeks ago and it just came to the limelight today?

When you’re as well known as Ted news tends to travel fast! I wish him all the luck playing for pretzels at other southern bars.

So what do most of tonight’s failures have in common? Glenn Beck, Palin, Ted Nugent come on down! These three grotesque humans will all be at the “I have a dream MLK” rally next week. In which Beck says "MLK's dream goes on where it left off", "We take it back" I wish you luck Beck in re-writing history to the way your hemorrhoids will feel comfortable with.

Me no like Fail Friday

Agree with me? Disagree? Post a comment below. Or catch me on twitter.

The Manhattan Mosque

Hello blog, I'm sure for almost anyone you ask you get a different opinion on this subject. For those of you who don’t know a Mosque (A place for Muslim worship) is to be built in lower Manhattan (near the 9/11 tragedy). A lot of people say it's disrespectful and shouldn't be built. I think that's bullcrap. We as a country are built on freedom of religion. No matter how distasteful we may think it is, they have the right to build their mosque near there.

And why is it thought to be disrespectful? Need I remind you there were thousands of deaths in the 9/11 attacks. Instead of thinking of the perpetrators try to think about the victims and the fact that innocent Muslims did die in that attack. So instead of saying they are secretly praising the attacks remember that there were actual innocent Muslim lives lost in that attack. If there was, say, a bombing today and the perpetrator was a Christian, does that mean that nowhere near this certain area a Christian church can be built? Just because a tragedy is committed by a few radicals does not mean that the constitution should be bent. Those laws are firmly put there not to be a popularity contest.

Remember these attacks were done by a HANDFUL of radicals to us. To get all bent out of shape about people who did not do those attacks and restrict their place of worship is wrong to me. If a Christian was to shoot a person on a property and a few years later a church wanted to be built over that area or near by it, do I then have the right to say you can’t build that there because someone of your faith took another man’s life there? That's generalizing an entire culture of people based on one person or in this case a handful of radicals.

I don’t see why were saying they are intentionally disrespecting us. Like I said before, innocent Muslims died in that incident. So perhaps they are building it to commemorate those people. But even then let’s say they did do it out of disrespect, do we still have the right to tell them to get lost? We don’t arrest these reject teenagers running around at my school saying "Praise Hitler" and doing the Nazi salute (I've seen it many times) we don’t persecute them. Speaking of Nazi's, in the 70s a group of Nazi's in Cleveland wanted to drive with the Nazi flag through a Jewish neighborhood in Cleveland and they had backing support from organizations. But on this Mosque situation these same organizations want to say "Now hold on a minute" or "Were not so sure.”

Quit generalizing an entire culture of people based on a group of radicals. Every culture, every country, every religion has a group of radicals or an individual in it that does something that all other groups scoff at. Let's say hypothetically the majority of Muslims practiced what takes place in the Middle East every day. Even if it is a majority, it does not imply ALL of them do that. Just like not all Christians go to church, or not all fat people like McDonalds, or not all Gays have a poster of Adam Lambert in their bedrooms.

These people need to stop complaining, the constitution isn't bent just because of sensitivity because you take something the wrong way or maybe even the right way. We have religious freedom here and it changes no matter how we may oppose it.

Good night Blog

Change doesn't happen over night

Hello blog, today I want to talk about President Obama, the big guy in the office. He's been our chief for eighteen months now and what an interesting eighteen months it has been. Healthcare reform, stimulus etc, and with the possibility of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell being repealed it could become even more eventful.

One event has also taken place, his approval ratings are spiraling downhill of. He's already on his way to below 50%. Remember just eighteen months ago he came in with over 70% approval. It took Bush into his 2nd term to hit where Obama is heading. And I think I know why this is.

Listen to his speeches again unless you can vividly remember them from before. Realize in 2008 we were contemplating what we were going to do as soon as we hit the 2nd great depression. This guy came in and he promised sooo much that for the ones that weren’t blinded by promise and actually paid more attention to what he was saying we knew that things he wanted to do weren't going to happen.

The promises he made in a very, very tough time sounded like music to our ears. The fact is though "Promises" from a politician is the oldest trick in the book to get your vote. Don’t get me wrong many of them do what they say, but it's different with our desperation.

We’re in a recession still even after the stimulus. While improvements have indeed been showed even Obama himself admits this isn't going as fast as planned. And what are we in America? Impatient people we complain when it takes more than a minute to load our e-mail on our iPhones. Therefore we get unhappy about Obama so as a result his approval ratings go down. He's his own biggest enemy by promising ALL of this change and it hasn't come as quickly as we expected or that he portrayed.

Now there are other reasons why his approval is down. If you weren't naive enough to buy into the old political promise tactics, you'd also be upset that he dropped the ball on torture. He already gave up on a public option for healthcare and he has spent trillions adding to the deficit. (However that is debatable that he had to spend that money to clean Bush's mess… I mean his two terms)

There’s also this group of people who are attacking this vulnerable point as well. The GOP. Now I'm not saying it's not fair, but they are doing a pretty good job at hurting Obama's approval and the massive section of this country that just switches party to party like shirts. These people always complain about "This country isn't changing, I vote GOP one term and then Liberal the next term." Well, sir, maybe instead of voting which one you hate less than the other you could, I don’t know, vote third party for a candidate you actually agree with?

I'm getting off topic, the GOP is promising their own change. However, if you look deeper it is EXTREMELY FAR FROM CHANGE! They want to use the same formula and tax breaks that Bush used TO GET US INTO THIS MESS! Face it, Obama screwed himself out of 2012 with his own speaking abilities and promise. No matter what else he does the next two years I don’t foresee his approval going up or the market suddenly getting extremely better like most of us expect.

He's also extremely weak; I mean he's being pushed around by Fox news and a non-majority GOP. (For now you better shape things up Democrats or you’re out in November.) He needs to get on the attack that alone is also draining his support. Who wants to see the most powerful person in the world, our representative, get pushed around by Bill O'Reilly? I'll keep it simple, when I say Obama screwed Obama out of 2012. Do you think if we stay near the same we are going to listen to him promise change again in 2012?

I don’t think so.

Tuesday, August 3, 2010

It's that time again UGH, Part 2

Hello ladies and gentlemen, as promised here is Part 2. So let's get started. Today I want to talk to you about something pretty simple. Can you define your political party anymore?

I don’t think a Conservative or a Liberal can be defined by a set of laws anymore. Right now we see a party who wants to keep tax's low. OH wait! Wrong one. We got the Democrats who support the Bush Tax cuts. Which has split the party somewhat, some support some don’t. Conservatives stand by religion? A lot do but to say there aren't Democrats who support religion? That’s nuts.

Gay rights? Most Democrats don’t want to repeal DADT same with Conservatives. What do they have in common though? They both fund these dumb programs that don’t benefit anyone or are helpful. They spend billions of unneeded tax dollars.

How about we leave the present? Abraham Lincoln, the record books show, was a Republican. Hold up though, historically, if you compare Lincoln then to the liberal view today, Lincoln has a hell of a lot in common with them don’t you think?

Conservative outlook and liberal outlook are constantly changing.

Remember John McCain? Fox News and the lot wouldn't vote for him because he wasn't conservative enough.

My question is, can you even tell us how far right you want?

Now back in the time machine we see the Liberals of then look a lot like the conservatives of today! Our two head parties are always changing therefore we can’t truly define what a REAL LIBERAL or a REAL CONSERVATIVE is. I don’t see how that works either. Is there some kind of measuring stick to decide if you are liberal enough for me or conservative enough? People constantly try to compare real conserves or real liberals to the liberals and conservatives of today. Don’t waste your time. There is no solid liberal and solid conservative. I don’t care what anyone says, you cannot FULLY support EVERY SINGLE idea in a party unconditionally.

I agree with some points by a conservative and some points by liberals. I don’t understand anyone who FULLY supports 100% Liberal or conservative. If they do they are pretty blinded.

Ideas and opinions change by person everyone has them.

Now I want to get down to the point, these parties and outlooks are what is truly hurting America. These people aren't willing to part ways with their party. They really do put PARTY before public. And that frightens me. George Bush had a bailout of his own in his administration and the Republicans supported it.

President Obama had his bailout and not one republican voted for it.

That’s politics at its absolute worse right there, ladies and gentlemen, putting your party first.

I live in Kansas and we are in election fever. Constant ads are being played on our television sets, mainly between Jerry Moran and Todd Tiehart. Jerry Moran has an ad that really bothered me. He said he opposes the Obama Agenda. Why is that in your campaign? What does that matter? Does that mean you can’t think for yourself?

America, I want someone who can capture all of us and appeal to all of us not just trying to capture their own party’s vote. Try to pull us together from this wedge of (D) and (R) instead of saying "I don’t support Obama therefore I prove I'm conservative vote for me!" Each (Tiehart and Moran) try to use Obama as a way to sway the republican vote by saying, “OH HE VOTED WITH OBAMA” more; therefore he’s a bad person.

All that it's saying, if you agree with Obama on some extents, you should not be in office and I find that sickening. Provide your ideas and not just how many times you were beside Obama on a law.

Representatives vote for what you believe in and not what’s popular with your party. These men and women are what we look too if we’re in trouble, but there too busy trying to keep their job instead of voting for what they believe in and what possibly could help the American people. And that is why I have no faith in Washington.

It's that time again. UGH!

Hello blog, with elections in just a few months I want to talk to you all about something that disturbs me a lot in today's world. How we decide who were going to vote for. Now, I know there are many who logically decide who they are going to vote for reflecting on their viewpoints or lifestyle, but I want to talk about what the majority seem to base their decisions on.

I myself have seen this in my school. (We cannot vote yet however they will be at the ballot box in just a year or two.) Now, back in the Obama and McCain election, which seems like so long ago, I heard plenty of people say they weren't going to vote for McCain because he was old and would die in office. Now, he is old but I really doubt he was going to die in office. However, this actually proved to be an OK viewpoint because when he picked Palin I didn't want to vote for McCain just because of that type of situation. Were McCain to step down, die in office, etc -- I don’t want Palin to run this country basically.

However I heard that WELL before Palin was officially chosen as McCain’s running mate. I find that ridiculous I wouldn't have voted for McCain because and I quote "If we have to we will stay in Iraq for a century." Oh, and also because he voted alongside with Bush 90% of the time.

Now, on the other side of the table, we saw Obama, and the given one was let's not vote for him because he’s black. However, I saw plenty who said I'm voting for Obama because HE IS black. Once again, race should not decide the election whether it is in relation to racism or voting for the same race. I also heard many who said they wanted McCain/Palin just because Palin didn't use big words...FACEPALM.

Let's look beyond those things now to something I dislike even more – T\the parties themselves. ALMOST EVERYONE in this country sees the (D) or the (R) next to the caption of the person to decide whether or not they agree with that person.

This type of decision making frightens me the most. I believe we should be deciding who we support or vote for based on personal agendas and not the majority agenda on a political party. I like some Conservatives, I like some Liberals, I like some independents. I decided on that based on PERSONAL AGENDA not there parties they support. Now obviously the party they are a part of can usually decide whether or not you like them or not. Plenty completely oppose the agenda of the opposite political party.

However, I don’t think there is a blue print democrat or a blue print conservative. I don’t think those terms can honestly be concretely defined and listing the same exact principles. We are all people and we will support different things. Some support this some dislike this. I believe just like snowflakes no two people are going to agree on the EXACT SAME THING on EVERY SINGLE issue. Not from what I've met or seen anyway.

I remember on the news a couple years ago they were celebrating a woman who has voted conservative in every single election since the 50's I thought this was absolute non-sense. Now maybe I am wrong and that she just happened to like what every single Republican said from the 50's to now. But honestly that seems unlikely she was in her 90's the last election .Now I don’t know too many 90 year olds who are politically involved anymore. It's a cause of voting Republican blindly.

I will cut this into two parts ladies and gentlemen. Tomorrow I will talk about how political parties aren't concrete.

WikiLeaks show true colors

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen!

Sorry I haven't made any new entries lately, but that’s over now, and I will now talk about what was just uncovered a few days ago. The "WikiLeaks" documents released ninety-one THOUSAND military documents, most of them from the Bush administration, and their attempts at democracy in Pakistan.

The documents date up to December 2009. These documents consist of how our "friends" of the Middle East, Pakistan, continue to take money that we give them and turn it over to Al-Qaeda behind our backs! Now, that obviously is irritating for everyone, but what irritates me is what I don’t see more people being angry at. The fact they have KNOWN because these are all documented that Pakistan was just giving the money back to Al-Qaeda.

Why would you give them more and more if they had known Al-Qaeda was getting the money? Something to think about.

Another thing is these Pakistan officials have far different ideas then what we have presented. I'll give you an example; the government paid Pakistan to open up an orphanage to house one hundred children, and donated toys to the facility. It opened up and the facility was checked some time later and only thirty kids were in it out of one hundred. They checked again a year later and the place was wiped clean. No orphans and the toys were gone.

They have done this countless times to us taking money and running. You can’t go in there and try to promote democracy when the entire Government is completely corrupt and backstabbing. It's an impossible mission. These guys are in power, why would they say "Oh yes, Democracy, let me just give up my spot and let Democracy decide".

Ok, no one is going to go for that if you are already in power. Furthermore it's been going on as early as 2003. Once again, these guys are fighting an unsuccessful war. They keep donating and they keep taking the money and running. Why are we still letting men and woman die for no cause? This mission is impossible. We need to get out of this place now.

Now it ends in December 2009, like I mentioned above. So the Government has come out and said progress has been made since then. Should we believe them? They keep telling us we are winning and the mission is such a success but these military documents are telling us different. We aren't doing much good there.

The Government claims we have made progress. Unlike Bush, Obama has refused to let the dictator ruler walk all over them. Again I don’t know how truthful that is. They have claimed to have been making great progress since the beginning. Now, it does get a little better by the year on these documents, but not as much of course as the Government has portrayed.

I'll put this as I see it. This mission is a failure, change it or let’s get out.  Simple as that.

Fail Friday

New concept I'm trying on this blog. I'm taking any story I find from the week and presenting them as the low points. In other words: Major Fails!

Fail #1 BP closes the oil spill...only to find another hole. I'm not surprised every day we hear more miscalculations and mishaps by this billion dollar company and here we are at Day 100.

Fail #2 Sharon Angle is scared to answer any questions given out by the Media. So much so that she avoided the media at her own press conference. Don’t worry she's got a solution. She will questions every day but only on the topic she wishes to speak about on her campaign. Oh please, Sharon, when did the Media have rules?

Fail #3 Massey Mine had an accident killing nearly twenty eight people only for Don Blankenship to say he doesn't feel guilty about it. And why should he? He only dealt losses to twenty-eight families. He saw the error in his ways and has fixed this all through lying about new safety regulations. Massey Mine has adopted the change? Absolutely not.

Fail #4 Glenn Beck today wanted to talk about his 9/12 project and how other people are getting involved with projects of their own. He says we must be reminded by how together we were as a nation on 9/12 by protesting and politically dividing us more. Makes sense…only not so much.

For Fail #5 We have a tie ladies and gentlemen for failure of the week over the same incident. We got Bill O'Reilly who took a tape twenty years ago, but didn't play the entire tape, only the part they wanted to hear. He tried to use it to say there’s reverse oppression in this country from Blacks being racist to Whites. Way to go Fox!

And then we got our big man in office. The most powerful position in the world getting brutalized by Fox for over a year now, and just now he finally realizing that Fox news it out to get him. Come on Obama, keep up! And way to go, blaming the entire media for this and not Fox news. Yeah just blame MSNBC too. How dare they defend you on a daily basis, Obama? Fight the battle, Obama, or just ignore them and don’t let a conservative network do YOUR decision making. You’re in politics, dude, we all knew full well that you had inexperience but, come on. My little brother could tell you Fox news is out to get you. They have for over a year now.

That's my top Fails of the week. You can decide on O'Reilly or Obama?

Oil Spiel: Leakage stopped (for now)

After months of irreversible spillage into the Gulf of Mexico a cap has finally stopped the leakage but, of course BP has finally told the truth for once and said, "Don’t hold your breath, it might not be over yet," perhaps the most honest statement in this whole ordeal. If this cap breaks and Oil returns to spilling into the gulf BP should dig there black oil slick sandy graves at beach side because they will officially be over.

No, not really.

Nothing else will happen to them if they close it people will forget and go on to the next big story probably the Ashton Kutcher violent outburst on the phone (that's my prediction, just imagine it...)

On topic; a lot of people lately have said "Don’t shop at the BP" which doesn't make any sense. The BP's where I live, and probably where you live, are run by a family business. What that dimwit that runs BP does is his decision. The family that runs the BP down the street to you have no say in his or his monkeys (I mean advisors) decisions. All you're doing is breaking another business in this economic downside that has claimed many, don’t add to the list. I say if you don’t shop at BP continue to not shop at BP; don’t line anymore pockets than you have too. But, if you shop at BP often, don’t re-route where your quick stop is.

Next will be a long clean up and trying to get boats back on those waters. But, judging by the fact hundreds of thousands of gallons spilled every day, it will be a very long time. Also, all through this ordeal, anyone notice how BP tried to downplay how much is spilling? When it first spilled and broke headlines it was only 100,000 gallons a day then they "re-researched it" bumped to 200,000 "re-researched it" again up to 500,000. They have done nothing but lie to the public these last couple of months and the Government really should do something about it.

But I can see the wrong approach already being taken

This clearly happened because BP and its workers failed to take the precautions necessary. And what do we do when they can’t take the precautions necessary? We add more precautions if you can’t eat 3 scoops of ice cream you don’t add 3 more scoops of ice cream. Adding more precautions is just more precautions that won’t be followed.

Once again Obama was being too soft. I don’t blame him that the spill happened I blame him for the fact he bended into what the conservatives campaigned for the entire time: "Drill baby drill!" He spoke against it (the conservatives supported it) and was debated on TV. He WON the election, got a Democratic majority in the senate and house, and what does he do? He signs an offshore drilling law? What the hell is that? Don’t democrats dominate everything? Once again Liberals are being pushed around. It could be one Republican and all the rest Dems and still be pushed around, put it together. If Obama signs more of these offshore drilling bills and companies like BP keep recklessly extracting oil these spills will be a hell of a lot more common, so please don’t.

Oh, and by the way, BP making a Youtube channel and advertising on every other vid I watch to befriend you? Really? Are you really more concerned about getting what little support you have now. You already are hated just for being an oil company. A cheap attempt is all it is. And the fact you can’t even comment on their page or videos?

Stupid.
