However, most people expect this to happen, even the Democrats and the president himself. The president and many other Democratic leaders say they will be willing to work with Republicans ending partisanship (for now). And while they keep saying they will work with them and that they are confident that they will do so Mitch the Turtle Man has...other ideas. Recently our friendly turtle said the primary goal of Republicans is to make Obama a one term president.
BAFFLED, I-I don’t know what to say to that. Unemployment is near 10%, bad debt, dwindling value of the American dollar.
Who's that surprised though? Isn't it every politician’s goal to become president? Putting forth their own agenda for how they will get that power in the oval office is pretty expected. Unlike, you know, moving this country forward like they say they will do. I like the guys that say they will do it, but don’t. But I hate the third party candidates who say they will and will do it.
Speaking of third candidates, how about Lisa Mur...ma?...Me?...the chick from Alaska.
Who's had some weird polls out in Alaska, sometimes tied with Joe, other times blowing him out of the water, and times where the Democratic candidate is beating both of them.
Lisa Murkowski |
Another wacked out election is of course the Nevada race. Did you know that on the ballot there will be a "Neither Harry or Sharon" Option? In fact, Reid hopes it will let him win. In the past few days he has said if you don’t want to vote for me vote for the neither.
Another frustrating fact for liberals is registered voters favor Democrats across the board by 5 points. However, when polled on the ones likely to vote instead, of registered, Republicans were favored +4 across the board.
I kinda wonder what will be said in a few months from now from the Liberals who decided “Yeah, let's not vote tomorrow, no big deal anyway.”
As the joker would say "It's a strange, strange world we live in".
